A lively provincial capital, Khasab has been termed the "Norway of Arabia," because of its dramatic coastline, where dramatic inlets resemble the fjords of Scandinavia.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Mon): race across the water with a speed boat tour, enjoy the sand and surf at Bassa Public Beach, and then contemplate the waterfront views at Khawr Najd.

You can fly from Salalah to Khasab in 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and car. While traveling from Salalah, expect a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Khasab, ranging from highs of 27°C to lows of 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Mon) so you can fly to Muscat.
