Tasmania's Capital City

Get outdoors at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and Mount Wellington. Dedicate the 15th (Wed) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: sample the tasty concoctions at Cascade Brewery, make a trip to Cascades Female Factory Historic Site, learn insider's secrets on a distillery tour, and learn about winemaking at Puddleduck Vineyard.

Perth to Hobart is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train, ferry, and bus. The time zone difference when traveling from Perth to Hobart is 2 hours. In March, Hobart is a bit cooler than Perth - with highs of 25°C and lows of 13°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Port Arthur.
