Konye-Urgench, also known as Kunya-Urgench, Old Urgench or Urganj, is a municipality of about 30,000 inhabitants in north Turkmenistan, just south from its border with Uzbekistan. Kunya-Urgench is known for historic sites and sightseeing. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: steep yourself in history at Kunya-Urgench - UNESCO World Heritage Site, delve into the distant past at Kyrk Molla, and make a trip to Turabek Khanum Mausoleum.
