Your inner history buff will appreciate Hwaseong Fortress and Hwahongmun Gate. Shop till you drop at Kwangjang Market and Seoul Daehangno. Jakarta, Indonesia to Seoul is an approximately 10-hour flight. You'll lose 2 hours traveling from Jakarta to Seoul due to the time zone difference. Prepare for much colder weather when traveling from Jakarta in March: high temperatures in Seoul hover around 13°C and lows are around 1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Thu) to allow time to fly to Busan.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.

Start off your visit on the 17th (Fri): snap pictures at Busandaegyo Bridge, wander the streets of Busan Gamcheon Culture Village, then walk around Yongdusan Park, then head outdoors with Gwangalli Beach, and finally see the interesting displays at Busan Museum. On the 18th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Beomeosa Temple, take an in-depth tour of Bokcheon Museum, kick back and relax at Haeundae Beach, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Haedong Yonggungsa, and finally get a taste of the local shopping with MUSEUM 1.

Traveling by flight from Seoul to Busan takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. In March in Busan, expect temperatures between 16°C during the day and 3°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Sat) to allow enough time to fly to Seoul.

Step out of the city life by going to Cheonggyecheon Stream and Bukhansan National Park. Do your shopping at Myeongdong Shopping Street and Namdaemun Market.
