Traveling by car from Sapporo to Asahikawa takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. In December, plan for daily highs up to -2°C, and evening lows to -5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Sun) early enough to drive to Furano.

On the 25th (Mon), stop by Furano Marche, don't miss a visit to Ningle Terrace, hit the slopes at Furano Ski Resort, then take in nature's colorful creations at Garden of Wind, and finally visit Glass Forest in FURANO.

You can drive from Asahikawa to Furano in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Asahikawa in December, Furano is slightly colder at night with lows of -8°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Niseko-cho.

On the 26th (Tue), get outside with White Isle Niseko, hit the slopes at Niseko Tokyu Grand HIRAFU, fly down the slopes at Niseko Village Ski Resort, then fly down the slopes at Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area, and finally visit Kanrosui. Keep things going the next day: hit the slopes at Rusutsu Resort Ski and then take an in-depth tour of Arishima Memorial Center.

Getting from Furano to Niseko-cho by car takes about 4 hours. Traveling from Furano in December, things will get a bit warmer in Niseko-cho: highs are around 3°C and lows about -1°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Wed) so you can go by car to Sapporo.
