One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
On the 7th (Mon), visit Myeongdong Shopping Street, take in nature's colorful creations at Namsan Park, and then get a taste of the local shopping with Namdaemun Market.

Busan — 3 nights

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Busan is known for sightseeing, beaches, and shopping. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: head outdoors with Haeundae Beach, get great views at Taejongdae, take in the spiritual surroundings of Haedong Yonggungsa, and take in the views from Gwangandaegyo Bridge.

Traveling by flight from Seoul to Busan takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Expect somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Seoul in November: highs in Busan hover around 18°C, while lows dip to 6°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 11th (Fri) so you can go by car to Jeonju.

Jeonju — 1 night

If you're a gastronomy enthusiast, you should consider a trip to Jeonju, a city hailed for its cuisine and food festivals.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Fri): take in the awesome beauty at Maisan, contemplate the long history of Pungnammun Gate, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Jeondong Catholic Church. On your second day here, contemplate the long history of Gyeonggijeon Shrine, then make a trip to Jeonju Hanok Village, and then contemplate the long history of Omokdae and Imokdae.

Drive from Busan to Jeonju in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. While traveling from Busan, expect slightly colder days and about the same nights in Jeonju, ranging from highs of 15°C to lows of 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Sat) early enough to fly to Sokcho.

Change things up with a short trip to Nami Island in Chuncheon (about 1h 40 min away). Pack the 18th (Fri) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. Explore Seoul further: get engrossed in the history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, wander the streets of Insadong, admire the striking features of Deoksugung, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Bongeunsa Temple.
