One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Insadong. Get some historical perspective at Cheonggyecheon Stream and Changdeokgung Palace. Spend the 29th (Thu) exploring nature at Bukhansan National Park. Kharkiv, Ukraine to Seoul is an approximately 17-hour flight. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 7 hours traveling from Kharkiv to Seoul. December in Seoul sees daily highs of 3°C and lows of -5°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Sokcho.

You can drive from Gyeongju to Busan in 1.5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or take a train. Traveling from Gyeongju in January, expect nights in Busan to be slightly colder, around -3°C, while days are a bit warmer, around 7°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Tue) early enough to fly to Jeju.
