Fly from Incheon to Busan in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of subway and train. When traveling from Incheon in December, plan for somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Busan: temperatures range from 10°C by day to 0°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 19th (Mon) so you can catch the flight to Seoul.

Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Myeong-dong Cathedral. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Myeongdong Shopping Street and National Folk Museum of Korea. Traveling by flight from Busan to Seoul takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Plan for little chillier temperatures traveling from Busan in December, with highs in Seoul at 3°C and lows at -5°C. You will have some time to spend on the 25th (Sun) before leaving for Pyeongchang-gun.

A northern county in the Taebeak Mountain region of South Korea, Pyeongchang offers a plethora of year-round alpine resorts.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Ocean 700 and Lee Hyo-Seok Memorial Hall. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Cheonglyeongpo and Lee Hyo Seok Literature Forest. Get out of town with these interesting Pyeongchang-gun side-trips: Yeongwol-gun (Jangneung & Byeolmaro Observatory). There's lots more to do: hit the slopes at Phoenix Snow Park, learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Daegwallyeong Agi Mokjang, and hunt for treasures at Pyeongchang Olympic Market.
