Paris of the North
Often referred to as "The Paris of the North," Riga offers thriving nightlife and some of the best collections of Art Nouveau architecture in Europe.Change things up with a short trip to Summer House and Garden Complex of Kristaps and Auguste Morbergs in Jurmala (about 34 minutes away). And it doesn't end there: make a trip to Old City Riga (Vecriga), admire the landmark architecture of Alberta Iela, pause for some photo ops at Freedom Monument, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Riga Cathedral.
