Sigulda is a town in the Vidzeme Region of Latvia, 53km from the capital city Riga.OverviewSigulda is on a picturesque stretch of the primeval Gauja river valley. Get out of town with these interesting Sigulda side-trips: Cesis (Old Brewery & Cesis Medieval Castle) and Sietiniezis Rock (in Valmiera). Spend the 13th (Wed) exploring nature at Gauja National Park. There's much more to do: explore the historical opulence of Turaida Castle, stroll around Canes Park, explore the fascinating underground world of Gutman's Cave, and expand your understanding of the military at The Secret Soviet Bunker.
