Khasab — 1 night

A lively provincial capital, Khasab has been termed the "Norway of Arabia," because of its dramatic coastline, where dramatic inlets resemble the fjords of Scandinavia.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Khasab is an approximately 8-hour combination of flight, bus, and car. You can also fly; or drive. The time zone difference moving from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Gulf Standard Time (GST) is 1 hour. When traveling from Riyadh in July, plan for a bit cooler days in Khasab, with highs around 44°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 38°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Sat) to allow enough time to fly to Muscat.

Sur is a capital city of Ash Sharqiyah Region, northeastern Oman, on the coast of the Gulf of Oman. On the 8th (Fri), explore the striking landscape at Wadi Shab and then step into the grandiose world of Bilad Sur Castle. On the next day, surround yourself with nature on Coastal Trip Tourism and then stroll through Turtle Beach.
