Khasab — 1 night

A lively provincial capital, Khasab has been termed the "Norway of Arabia," because of its dramatic coastline, where dramatic inlets resemble the fjords of Scandinavia.
Kick off your visit on the 1st (Fri): make a trip to Khasab Fort. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: explore the historical opulence of Festung Cacapo and then head outdoors with Musandam Sea Adventure Travel and Tourism.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Khasab is an approximately 8-hour combination of flight, bus, and car. You can also fly; or drive. The time zone difference when traveling from Riyadh to Khasab is 1 hour. While traveling from Riyadh, expect slightly colder days and about the same nights in Khasab, ranging from highs of 44°C to lows of 38°C. Sur is a capital city of Ash Sharqiyah Region, northeastern Oman, on the coast of the Gulf of Oman. On the 8th (Fri), explore the striking landscape at Wadi Shab and then step into the grandiose world of Bilad Sur Castle. Keep things going the next day: get a dose of the wild on Coastal Trip Tourism and then kick back and relax at Turtle Beach.

Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 15th (Fri) to allow time for the flight back home.
