Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.Get a sense of the local culture at Odaiba District and Senso-ji Temple. Get in touch with nature at Odaiba Kaihin Koen (Odaiba Seaside Park) and Wakasu Golf Links. Singapore, Singapore to Tokyo is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone difference moving from Singapore Standard Time (SGT) to Japan Standard Time (JST) is 1 hour. In January, Tokyo is colder than Singapore - with highs of 11°C and lows of 1°C. On the 1st (Thu), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can fly to Yamagata.

You can fly from Yamagata to Sapporo in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and train; or do a combination of bus and train. When traveling from Yamagata in February, plan for a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Sapporo: temperatures range from -1°C by day to -5°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Noboribetsu.
