The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Busan is known for sightseeing, beaches, and shopping. Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Busan is an approximately 14.5-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Gulf Standard Time (GST) to Korean Standard Time (KST) is 5 hours. Prepare for cooler weather when traveling from Dubai in March: high temperatures in Busan hover around 16°C and lows are around 3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Gyeongju.

Museum Without Walls

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Start off your visit on the 11th (Sat): get engrossed in the history at Shilla Arts and Science Museum, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Bulguksa Temple, and then appreciate the history behind Seokguram. On the 12th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate the long history of Gyeongju Historic Area, then explore the activities along Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, and then see the interesting displays at Gyeongju National Museum.

You can drive from Busan to Gyeongju in 1.5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or take a train. Traveling from Busan in March, you will find days in Gyeongju are a bit cooler (5°C), and nights are about the same (5°C). Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sun) so you can fly to Jeju.

Island of the Gods

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Explore Jeju's surroundings by going to Seogwipo (Seongsan Ilchulbong, Jeongbang Waterfall, &more). There's much more to do: head off the coast to Udo, head outdoors with Gwakji Gwamul Beach, kick back and relax at Hamdeok Beach, and go for a walk through Handam Coastal Trail.

Getting from Gyeongju to Jeju by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of train, taxi, and ferry. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Fri) to allow time to fly to Seoul.

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Seoul is known for sightseeing, shopping, and museums.
