Though the town of Sagres has roots in the Portuguese Age of Discovery, it is better known by visitors as a peaceful, rugged resort spot with great surfing beaches.
Start off your visit on the 7th (Fri): don't miss a visit to Cape Saint Vincent and then take in the waterfront at Porto da Baleeira.
