Traveling by train from Gyeongju to Daegu takes an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Expect slightly colder evenings in Daegu when traveling from Gyeongju in October, with lows around 14°C. Traveling from Daegu in October, Jeju is somewhat warmer at night with lows of 23°C. You will have some time to spend on the 18th (Wed) before leaving for Busan.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
