One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Explore Seoul's surroundings by going to Hwaseong Fortress (in Suwon), DMZ Haemaru Village (in Paju) and Yongin (Korean Folk Village & Everland). Pack the 1st (Mon) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. Spend the 8th (Mon) exploring nature at Bukhansan National Park. Next up on the itinerary: get engrossed in the history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, explore the activities along Cheonggyecheon Stream, take in nature's colorful creations at Namsan Park, and take a stroll through Bukchon Hanok Village.
