Tel Aviv, Israel to Busan is an approximately 17-hour flight. The time zone changes from Israel Standard Time to Korean Standard Time, which is usually a 7 hour difference. Expect slightly colder temperatures when traveling from Tel Aviv in September; daily highs in Busan reach 30°C and lows reach 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Wed) so you can drive to Gyeongju.

Start off your visit on the 29th (Thu): contemplate the long history of Cheonmachong Tomb and then contemplate the long history of Bulguksa Temple. Traveling by car from Busan to Gyeongju takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. While traveling from Busan, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in Gyeongju, ranging from highs of 25°C to lows of 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Fri) to allow time to drive to Andong.

You can drive from Gyeongju to Andong in 2 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or take a train. In September, daytime highs in Andong are 24°C, while nighttime lows are 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Sat) to allow time to fly to Jeju.

Getting from Andong to Jeju by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of bus and ferry. Traveling from Andong in October, plan for somewhat warmer nights in Jeju, with lows around 23°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 8th (Sat) early enough to catch the flight to Sokcho.

Start off your visit on the 9th (Sun): take in the spiritual surroundings of Naksansa Temple and then head outdoors with Ulsanbawi Rock. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: explore the striking landscape of Seoraksan National Park.

Traveling by flight from Jeju to Sokcho takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, train, and bus. Traveling from Jeju in October, Sokcho is a bit cooler at night with lows of 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Mon) early enough to drive to Seoul.

Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Folk Museum of Korea will appeal to museum buffs. Kids will appreciate attractions like Changdeokgung Palace and Deoksugung. Take a break from Seoul with a short trip to DMZ Haemaru Village in Paju, about 1h 25 min away.
