The capital and largest city of Oman, the coastal city of Muscat boasts numerous historical sites and pristine modern developments.
Kids will enjoy Walking tours and The National Museum of Oman. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Muscat: Jebel Sifah Golf Course (in As Sifah), Nakhl (Al Thowarah Hot Springs & Nakhal Fort) and Wakan Village (in Sohar). Make the 22nd (Thu) a memorable day with a climbing tour. Spend the 24th (Sat) spotting exotic species with a safari tour. The adventure continues: stroll through Qurum Beach, take in the spiritual surroundings of Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, see the interesting displays at Bait Al Zubair, and kick back and relax at Al Sifah Beach.
