The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Bokcheon Museum and Busan Museum. Get outdoors at Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach. Step out of Busan with an excursion to Gimhae National Museum in Gimhae--about 50 minutes away. There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Haedong Yonggungsa, don't miss a visit to Gwangandaegyo Bridge, stroll through Yongdusan Park, and indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas.

Coimbatore, India to Busan is an approximately 16.5-hour flight. You can also drive. Traveling from Coimbatore to Busan, you'll lose 3.5 hours due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Coimbatore in October, things will get slightly colder in Busan: highs are around 26°C and lows about 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Sun) early enough to fly to Seoul.

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bongeunsa Temple. Head to Myeongdong Shopping Street and Namdaemun Marketfor plenty of shopping. Spend the 11th (Fri) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's much more to do: admire the natural beauty at Changdeokgung Palace, don't miss a visit to N Seoul Tower, brush up on your military savvy at The War Memorial of Korea, and admire the masterpieces at Leeum Art Museum.

Getting from Busan to Seoul by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or drive. Traveling from Busan in November, expect Seoul to be a bit cooler, temps between 13°C and 3°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Suwon.

The city of Suwon lies close to the country's capital, and brings in visitors on day trips, mainly to see its old city walls.
Let the collections at The Independence Hall of Korea and Arario Gallery capture your imagination. Get some historical perspective at Hwaseong Fortress and Paldalmun Gate. Change things up with these side-trips from Suwon: Icheon Ceramics Village (in Icheon), Yeoju Premium Outlets (in Yeoju-si) and Asan (Oeam Folk Village & Paradise Spa Dogo). There's lots more to do: explore the fascinating underground world of Gosu Cave, take in the awesome beauty at Dodamsambong Peaks, steep yourself in history at Hwahongmun Gate, and pause for some serene contemplation at Suwon Jeil Church.

You can drive from Seoul to Suwon in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a subway. In November in Suwon, expect temperatures between 13°C during the day and 1°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 18th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
