Sauraha — 5 nights

The tourist town of Sauraha stands on the edge of the Chitwan National Park and acts as the eastern gateway to a World Heritage-protected area.
You'll explore and learn at Sauraha Art Gallery and Tharu Cultural Museum and Research Cente. Visiting Chitwan National Park and Narayani River will get you outdoors. Change things up with these side-trips from Sauraha: Safaris (in Chitwan National Park) and Maula Kalika (in Gaindakot). There's much more to do: learn more about the world around you at Tharu Cultural Museum and Research Center, soothe aching muscles at Evergreen Yoga Studio Chitwan, and stroll through Elephant Breeding Centre.

An important place of Buddhist pilgrimage, Lumbini represents the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha.
Visit Maya Devi Temple and Myanmar Golden Monastery for their historical value. Royal Thai Monastery and Kudan Stupa are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore Lumbini's surroundings by going to Tansen (Ranighat Palace & Shree Amar Narayan Temple).
