Get out of town with these interesting Gyeongju side-trips: Ulsan (Ulsan Grand Park, Seoknamsa Temple, &more), Tongdosa Temple (in Yangsan) and Daegu (Donghwasa, Daegu Safety Theme Park, &more). Spend the 17th (Mon) exploring nature at Juwangsan National Park. Spend the 18th (Tue) exploring nature at Gyeongju National Park. There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Bulguksa Temple, contemplate the long history of Yangdong Folk Village, contemplate the waterfront views at Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, and pause for some photo ops at Daereungwon Tomb Complex.
