Albany — 1 night

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Wed): see the interesting displays at National Anzac Centre and then explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge.

Perth to Albany is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. In January, Albany is little chillier than Perth - with highs of 29°C and lows of 16°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 13th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Kojonup.
