Sokcho — 3 nights

Tourism in Sokcho mostly revolves around the local national park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Sokcho: Baekdamsa Temple (in Inje-gun) and Osaek Carbonated Hot Springs (in Yangyang-gun). Spend the 11th (Tue) exploring nature at Seoraksan National Park. The adventure continues: trek along Ulsanbawi Rock, Head underground at Geumganggul Cave, admire the sheer force of Biryong Falls, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Sinheungsa Temple.

Getting from Sokcho to Busan by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: drive; or do a combination of bus and train. While traveling from Sokcho, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Busan, ranging from highs of 26°C to lows of 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Gyeongju.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Get out of town with these interesting Gyeongju side-trips: Eunhaesa Temple (in Yeongcheon), Daegu (Bullodong Ancient Tomb Park, Seomun Market, &more) and Gatbawi Rock (in Gyeongsan). Sitting along either side of the Nakdong River, Andong maintains an unrivalled reputation as a center for Korean folk and cultural heritage.
Get out of town with these interesting Andong side-trips: Juwangsan National Park (in Cheongsong-gun) and Yeongju (Buseoksa Temple & Sosuseowon Confucian Academy).
