Just east of the capital sits Famagusta, an ancient port city with archaeological attractions, as well as an abandoned quarter that is popular among tourists as a symbol of the conflict between Turks and Greeks.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Sat): discover the deep blue sea with Dive Hub, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St Barnabas Monastery and Icon Museum, and then step into the grandiose world of Othello Castle. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: admire the striking features of Salamis Ancient City, then contemplate the long history of Famagusta City Walls, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, and finally see a world frozen in time at Ghost Town Varosha.

Istanbul, Turkey to Famagusta is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of bus, train, and ferry. Kyrenia — 3 nights

Famous for its natural port and Byzantine castle, Kyrenia is not only a lovely old Venetian town, but also the most visited tourist destination in Northern Cyprus.
Kyrenia is known for historic sites, nature, and beaches. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: contemplate the long history of Bellapais Monastery, get engrossed in the history at Ancient Shipwreck Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of Antiphonitis, and identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas.

Traveling by car from Famagusta to Kyrenia takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. While traveling from Famagusta, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Kyrenia, ranging from highs of 43°C to lows of 28°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Wed) to allow time to fly back home.
