Tourism in Gyeongsangbuk-do focuses on the region's rich cultural heritage with exquisite structures and ancient pagodas as well as historically themed parks. The cradle of the ancient Silla Kingdom, today Gyeongsangbuk-do tells the story of the 500-year Gaya confederacy in World Heritage Sites.
