CIty of Ramen

A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.
Explore Sapporo's surroundings by going to Otaru Canal (in Otaru), Noboribetsu (Oyunumagawa Natural Footbath, Jigokudani, &more) and Royce' Chocolate World (in Chitose). There's much more to do: take in the architecture and design of Hokkaido University Sapporo Campus, ponder the world of politics at Former Hokkaido Government Office Building, walk around Nakajima Park, and see the interesting displays at Sapporo Beer Museum.

A gateway to the island, Hakodate has gained a reputation for its waterfront attractions, its proximity to some of the island's most popular natural sites, and its seafood.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Wed): enjoy breathtaking views from Goryokaku Tower, admire the landmark architecture of Goryokaku Park, then take a stroll through Motomachi, then take in the awesome beauty at Mount Hakodate, and finally don't miss a visit to Hachimanzaka.
