Situated on the southernmost coast of Cyprus, the 6,000-year-old city of Larnaka features a bustling promenade full of bars, cafes, restaurants, and plenty of spots in the sun.

Step off the beaten path and head to Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque and Ayia Thekla Beach. Visiting Scuba & Snorkeling and Kourion Beach will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Larnaca side-trips: The Sanctuary Of Apollo (in Episkopi), Protaras Coastal Promenade (in Protaras) and Caledonia Waterfalls (in Platres). And it doesn't end there: enjoy the sand and surf at Glyki Nero Beach, contemplate the long history of Zenobia Wreck, stroll through Governor's Beach, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Agios Georgios Church.
