Just east of the capital sits Famagusta, an ancient port city with archaeological attractions, as well as an abandoned quarter that is popular among tourists as a symbol of the conflict between Turks and Greeks.
Start off your visit on the 17th (Wed): admire the striking features of Monastery of Apostolos Varnavas, then contemplate the long history of Sea Gate, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Famagusta is an approximately 4-hour flight. Traveling from Tel Aviv in April, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be little chillier in Famagusta, with lows of 14°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Thu) so you can drive to Paphos.

The legendary birthplace of the Greek goddess Aphrodite and the capital of western Cyprus, the city of Paphos showcases an abundance of archaeological, architectural, and historical sites.
Explore hidden gems such as Avakas Gorge and Latchi Beach. Get outdoors at Aphrodite's Rock and Safaris. Explore Paphos' surroundings by going to Scuba & Snorkeling (in Pissouri) and Akamas Peninsula National Park (in Neo Chorion).
