Gateway to the Highlands

Inverness, often described as the Gateway to the Highlands, is a thriving commercial and industrial center.
Loch Ness by Jacobite has been added to your itinerary. On the 14th (Mon), get outside with Loch Ness by Jacobite, steep yourself in history at Urquhart Castle, and then look for gifts at Loch Ness Gifts.

Manchester to Inverness is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. In February, daytime highs in Inverness are 7°C, while nighttime lows are 0°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Thurso.

Thurso is a town and former burgh on the north coast of the Highland council area of Scotland.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Tue): explore the galleries of Lindsey Gallacher Jewellery and Art and then take some stellar pictures from Dunnet Head. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get engrossed in the history at Caithness Horizons Museumand Art Gallery.
