Daegu — 59 nights

The fourth-largest city in South Korea, Daegu sprawls out across a wide, flat valley overlooked by a sacred Buddhist mountain.Change things up with these side-trips from Daegu: Gyeongju (Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram, &more), Haeinsa (in Hapcheon-Gun) and Seongju-gun (Gayasan Wildflower Botanical Garden & Hangae Maeul). Spend the 3rd (Sun) exploring nature at Gayasan National Park. There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Donghwasa, hunt for treasures at Seomun Market, walk around Daegu Duryu Park, and examine the collection at Daegu Safety Theme Park.
To find where to stay, maps, more things to do, and tourist information, refer to the Daegu tour itinerary website.
In September in Daegu, expect temperatures between 31°C during the day and 20°C at night.
