Island of the Gods

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Change things up with these side-trips from Jeju: Seogwipo (Seongsan Ilchulbong, Gasiri Wind Power Plant, &more). Spend the 26th (Fri) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. And it doesn't end there: Head underground at Manjanggul Cave, kick back and relax at Hamdeok Beach, get outside with Geumneung Eutteumwon Beach, and head off the coast to Udo.

Colombo, Sri Lanka to Jeju is an approximately 13.5-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 3.5 hours traveling from Colombo to Jeju. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Tue) so you can catch the flight to Incheon.

The third-largest city in the country, Incheon combines history and culture in an interesting whole.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Incheon: Goyang (Statue of Peace, Ilsan Lake Park, &more), Everland (in Yongin) and Seoul (Buramsan Mountain, N Seoul Tower, &more). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of DMZ Haemaru Village, appreciate the views at Sammaksa Valley, get engrossed in the history at Bupyeong History Museum, and take in nature's colorful creations at Korea National Arboretum.

You can fly from Jeju to Incheon in 3 hours. Other options are to do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, train, and subway. Plan for slightly colder nights when traveling from Jeju in September since evenings lows in Incheon dip to 22°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 19th (Wed) so you can travel back home.
