The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Seongsan Ilchulbong and Hamdeok Beach. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Jeju: Seogwipo (Gasiri Wind Power Plant & Scuba & Snorkeling). Traveling from Gyeongju in January, you will find days in Busan are a bit warmer (7°C), and nights are slightly colder (-3°C). You will have some time to spend on the 14th (Sat) before leaving for home.
