The capital and largest city of Oman, the coastal city of Muscat boasts numerous historical sites and pristine modern developments.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Qurum Beach and Mutrah Souq. On the 16th (Tue), spend a fun day on foot with Walking tours. Once the capital of the sultanate, Nizwa stands as one of the longest-established urban areas in the country, and has retained its traditional core.
Kick off your visit on the 19th (Fri): explore the fascinating underground world of Al Hoota Cave, delve into the distant past at Bahla Fort, then contemplate the long history of Falaj Daris Park, and finally contemplate the long history of Nizwa Fort. Keep things going the next day: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Jebel Akhdar.

The Sultanate's second city, Salalah has become known as a southerly counterpoint to the capital in the north.
Kick off your visit on the 21st (Sun): stroll through Al Fizayah Beach, then stroll through Al Mughsail Beach, and then Head underground at Marneef Cave. On your second day here, delve into the distant past at Sumhuram Old City, then contemplate the waterfront views at Wadi Darbat, and then examine the collection at Museum of the Frankincense Land.
