The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sun): walk around Hallim Park, then get outside with Gwakji Gwamul Beach, then walk around Sarabong Park, and finally go for a walk through Handam Coastal Trail. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get outside with Gimnyeong Seonsegi Beach, then Head underground at Manjanggul Cave, and then get outside with Hamdeok Beach.

New Delhi, India to Jeju is an approximately 13-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone difference when traveling from New Delhi to Jeju is 3.5 hours. Traveling from New Delhi in October, you will find days in Jeju are much colder (24°C), and nights are about the same (23°C). The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
On the 4th (Tue), don't miss a visit to Haeundae Cinema Street, take in the spiritual surroundings of Haedong Yonggungsa, then head outdoors with Haeundae Beach, and finally get outside with Gwangalli Beach.
