Start off your visit on the 6th (Fri): take an in-depth tour of Bass & Flinders Maritime Museum and then explore the striking landscape of Narawntapu National Park. On the 10th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: look for gifts at The Wicked Cheese Co., explore the world behind art at Museum of Old and New Art (Mona), then contemplate the long history of Runnymede House, and finally contemplate the long history of Claremont House.

Getting from Swansea to Hobart by car takes about 2 hours. In January, plan for daily highs up to 26°C, and evening lows to 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 11th (Wed) to allow time for the car ride to Launceston.
