If you are flying in from Vietnam, the closest major aiport is Queenstown International Airport. On the 18th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can fly to Queenstown.

Step out of Queenstown to go to Wanaka and see Wanaka Lavender Farm, which is approximately 1h 15 min away.
