Situated on the southernmost coast of Cyprus, the 6,000-year-old city of Larnaka features a bustling promenade full of bars, cafes, restaurants, and plenty of spots in the sun.Start off your visit on the 16th (Fri): see some colorful creatures with Podvodnyi Mir Scuba Diving, tour the pleasant surroundings at CTO Beach, and then contemplate the waterfront views at Oroklini Lake. On the next day, examine the collection at Kyriazis Medical Museum, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church Panagia Angeloktisti, then experience rural life at Golden Donkeys Farm, and finally make a trip to St. Thekla Monastery.

Sofia, Bulgaria to Larnaca is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of train, bus, ferry, and car. Traveling from Sofia in September, things will get a bit warmer in Larnaca: highs are around 35°C and lows about 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Sun) so you can drive to Paphos.

The legendary birthplace of the Greek goddess Aphrodite and the capital of western Cyprus, the city of Paphos showcases an abundance of archaeological, architectural, and historical sites.Kids will enjoy Kourion Beach and George's Ranch. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Adonis Nature Trail and Aphrodite's Beach.
