Waratah is a town in western Tasmania adjacent to Savage River National Park. Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Tue): get engrossed in the history at Waratah Museum, admire the sheer force of Philosopher Falls, then make a trip to Whyte Hills Lookout, and finally take in the dramatic scenery at Waratah Falls. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: contemplate the long history of Kenworthys Stamper Mill.
