Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Fri): tour the pleasant surroundings at Kingston Beach, then get engrossed in the history at Narryna Heritage Museum, and then stop by North Hobart. On your second day here, steep yourself in history at Runnymede House, view the masterpieces at Art Mob, then explore the galleries of Henry Jones Design Gallery, and finally wander the streets of Sullivans Cove.
