An alpine haven resting in a plush evergreen national park, Dilijan has made a name for itself as the "Armenian Switzerland." A much-loved spa town rich in culture and history, uncover the majestic 10th century monasteries, undisturbed scenic vistas, and hiking trails through undulating forest.
On the 21st (Mon), don't miss a visit to Monastery Sevanavank, then steep yourself in history at Saint Sargis Chapel, then don't miss a visit to Goshavank Monastery, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Haghartsin Monastery. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: stroll through Hayravank Monastery, make a trip to Sharambeyan Street, then explore the activities along Lake Parz, and finally pause for some photo ops at Monument to the Heroes of the Film Mimino.
