Greenock — 8 nights

Greenock is a town and administrative centre in the Inverclyde council area in Scotland and a former burgh within the historic county of Renfrewshire, located in the west central Lowlands of Scotland. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Lyle Hill and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Museum and Heritage Centre. There's still lots to do: stroll the grounds of Greenock Cemetery, make a trip to Wellpark, appreciate the history behind Ginger the Horse, and kick back and relax at Lunderston Bay.

To find maps, where to stay, and tourist information, use the Greenock trip planner.

Manchester to Greenock is an approximately 4-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. In July, daytime highs in Greenock are 22°C, while nighttime lows are 12°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sun) so you can go by car back home.
