Seoul — 8 nights

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Seoul: Nami Island (in Chuncheon), Hwaseong Fortress (in Suwon) and DMZ Haemaru Village (in Paju). There's much more to do: steep yourself in history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, stroll around Namsan Park, wander the streets of Insadong, and admire the landmark architecture of Changdeokgung Palace.

If you are flying in from Germany, the closest major aiports are Gimpo International Airport, Incheon International Airport and Osan Air Base. Expect a daytime high around 26°C in September, and nighttime lows around 25°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
