At Pirate's Cove, see a former pirate hideout and find the hidden cave that served as a shelter. Use the ladder to climb down into it, where you can explore its interior and look for the sailors' inscription that dates back to 1842. If driving yourself, be aware that some roads may be inaccessible; plan your route in advance and take a jeep. Note that you will need to walk for about 15 minutes on rocky terrain, so adequate shoes are a must. Rare incidents of armed robbery have been reported in the past--check reviews before making reservations and consider coming with a tour group to this remote location. This beach is secluded and has beautiful pristine waters. It was breathtaking. The cove is super cool and still used for bbqs and picnics. Many people dive from the rocks here.

This was such a fun experience. We took our adventurous 9 and 6 year old, but you def need to be careful when hiking to the ladder to go down into the cove. We enjoyed the cove and the kids found...
