Al Maqta Fort A historical site in Abu Dhabi dating back two hundred years. Drive towards the bridge to Maqta, just before the bridge take a right. Follow the road. Bumpy road ahead. Currently have construction work in the area. You can get a closer look from the outside. Not open to the public. Will be turned into a Police Museum. It’s a nice place away for the city and tall buildings. Beautiful sunset in the evening between the Maqta Bridge and Sheikh Zayed Bridge. A great place for tourists to see the old and the new Abu Dhabi.
