Create an itinerary including Ibn Battuta Mall
Enjoy a memorable shopping trip at Ibn Battuta Mall, an enormous and interestingly themed retail center. Opened in 2005, the complex includes six separate areas, each designed in the style of a land visited by Ibn Battuta, the famous Moroccan Berber explorer. The architecture, color schemes, and styles of Andalusia, Tunisia, Egypt, Persia, India, and China are sensitively referenced across the expansive mall, creating distinct atmospheres. The tastefully decorated space offers more than 270 shops, 50 restaurants, and a multiplex cinema, but even if nothing takes your fancy, you'll enjoy seeing the impressively conceived interior design and the commitment to the cultural styles it seeks to imitate. PutIbn Battuta Mall into our Dubai trip builder app and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • A big mall with so many different elements which refreshing. The mall is a sightseeing in itself, which makes its visit another must-see while in Dubai. It's divided into sections each representing a country reflected in its design. It's gratifying and enjoyable! Blue sky ceiling, great food courts, lots of services. I highly recommend at least a visit.
  • Nice big regional mall. Lots of nice stores that the average person needs. Some of the areas are still being filled with tenants but the vast majority are leased. It is a beautiful mall with interesting recreated symbols and architecture. Great selection of restaurants. Well worth a visit.
