  • We did a circular walk from Silverdale up to Arnside Knott and then along the shore line back to Silverdale, about 10 miles in total. We walked up through the trees first. Great views from the top...

  • Great walk up from Arnside Railway station. There’s a lane opposite the station, and came back via the village and prom, finishing with a delightful lunch at The Wayside Cafe.

  • Absolutely stunning views definitely deserves title of AONB. Pictures do little justice. One teeny tiny warning, the cliff walk can be terrifying when you have a spirited young one who has no fear. I couldn't take in the views as I was constantly on slip watch 🤣. But I would definitely do it again it was Completely worth it! Arnside Is gorgeous and lot of local shops, pubs and very close to train station and the people are so friendly. Parking can be a bit hit and miss as it gets busy but be patient a space will come may be best getting there early.
  • What a lovely walk. I did this walk nearly 8 months pregnant so it is a nice walk. Up and down took about 1 1/2 hours at a leisurely pace. The views are beautiful at different viewing points and the dog had a great time. I did it comfortably in trainers but the floor is rocky so walking shoes would be helpful. Drive up the one car track and over the cattle grid and you have the carpark which is free but no toilets. Take a picnic for a lovely adventure out
