Lot’s of science exhibits for kids to interact with and play. Very informative and fun. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Cafe could use some better options.

W5 is located at the SSE Arena in Belfast and it has recently had a renovation. W5 itself is an interactive science centre with attractions for the entire family to enjoy. It’s located over 5 floors and the best way to see what there is would be to go to the website. There are science projects, information on the planet, the power of the wind and the sea, how to fly a plane, and how an F1 car works. I recently attended the W5 late show which was Halloween themed and it was an excellent evening out. There is loads of parking outside in the SSE Arena car park and there are places to eat also in the arena. Everything you would expect for such a large venue.

Visited here on a very busy Sunday with 3 children aged between 6-17. Easy to find, ample car parking available and very reasonable considering what's on offer. Although very busy we had lots of time to see just about everything, it's spread out over a few floors and different area's are themed. There's toilets on every floor too and a fabulous shop on the ground floor, there is a coffee dock but we didn't use it. Favourite activities on the day included the climbing structure, News desk, grafitti board and tug of war. There is an area for small children which we had booked for our 6 year old but she chose to stay in the main area, it would be more suitable up to age 5! We spent about 3 hours here just after arriving in Belfast and had a great time, would highly recommend.
