Established in 1891, Brora Golf Club boasts a long history and beautiful grounds, from which you can admire neighboring castles and villages. The nine-hole course has a traditional out and back links layout, set against the North Sea coastline with open views over the water. Be advised that the winds sometimes get very strong here, and that sheep and cows may be wandering the course. While the attraction's not one of the country's toughest or most well-known courses, its greens are a challenge to read and playing to a handicap would be a real achievement. Gorgeous and unique links course on the ocean front in Brora. Greens, fairways snd tee boxes in great condition. Custom service at the pro shop and cafe/restaurant very friendly and helpful. Tee boxes all well placed, not just after-thoughts. The sheep on the course stayed over on the side of the course while we played. As there are sheep grazing here, each green is protected with a small electric fence.

Enjoyed playing this course. This is the 1 that had sheep and cows grazing right along the course. Had little electric fences around each green to keep livestock away. Very fun course
