Explore the battlefield by foot via a number of paths crossing the site, and get a panoramic view from the raised platform located in the visitor center. Amazing place ! Fantastic tour outside giving a history lesson on what happened that day. I loved the museum and all of the information they had. Great artifacts they had including a 2D video of how the battle occurred. The outside is beautiful and sacred. They take care and respect the grounds. I love how they show where the Jacobite groups and Red coats were. Transportation is great to get there. Don't need to spend a lot with a taxi. We took the local bus and purchased a day pass. The bus to there passes by every 30mins
